Swift AI Collections

Sort every collection on evidence, not by hand

Swift AI Collections ranks the products in your Shopify collections on what they actually do — revenue, conversion, stock health, margin and position-adjusted click-through — and keeps them in that order automatically. It is built for catalogues in the tens of thousands of SKUs, where sorting by hand stopped being possible a long time ago.

The problem with sorting a big catalogue

Shopify's built-in collection sorts are single-signal: best selling, price, newest. None of them know that a product is nearly out of stock in the sizes people buy, that it converts twice as well as its neighbours, or that it has been sitting in slot 3 for a month without a single click.

Apps that do sort on real data hit a different wall. Shopify's reorder API takes 250 moves per call, and each call is an asynchronous job that has to finish before the next one starts. Push a full 5,000-product order and that is twenty sequential round-trips — which is why competing apps cap you at a handful of collections and one or two updates a day.

What we do differently

Minimal-move sorting

We compute the smallest set of moves that turns the current order into the target — provably minimal. Measured against 57 real production sort runs covering 106,000 products: 3.8× fewer moves and 2.8× fewer API round-trips, and 4.7–7.5× on collections of 4,000–13,000 products.

Hourly, not daily

Because a re-sort usually costs one API batch instead of twenty, hourly updates across hundreds of collections are affordable. A sale mid-morning shows up in your merchandising before lunch.

Honest with sparse data

A product with one view and one order is not a 100% converter. Every rate is shrunk toward its collection's mean and ranked on the lower confidence bound, so lucky SKUs do not rocket to the top of your best collection.

Position-adjusted click-through

Our storefront tracker records which grid position each impression and click happened at, so we can tell a product that earns its clicks from one that gets them for being in slot 1.

Preview, guardrail, rollback

Every run can be previewed as an exact move list first. A run that would reorder more of a collection than your threshold aborts instead of applying, and every applied run keeps a snapshot you can roll back to.

Rules on top of the ranking

Pin a product to a position, push one below the fold, hide it, boost or bury a whole vendor, cap how many products from one brand appear in a row, demote sold-out items, or lift new arrivals for their first month.

How it works

  1. Install and sync. Your products, collections and 90 days of order history import through Shopify's bulk operations, which do not consume your API rate limit.
  2. Pick collections and a strategy. Nine built-in strategies — revenue, conversion, stock clearance, new arrivals, margin, and so on — or your own weights across 100+ signals.
  3. Preview, then apply. See the exact moves before anything changes in your store.
  4. Leave it running. Collections re-sort on their schedule, and the Overview page tells you honestly if the cadence is not being met.

What it needs from your store

Read access to products, orders and inventory, and write access to products so it can set the collection order. It reads order totals and line items to work out what sells; it does not read customer names, emails or addresses, and it does not read your Shopify analytics — click-through data comes from the app's own storefront tracker. See the privacy policy for exactly what is stored and for how long.
