Swift AI Collections

Support

Email inquiries@iessentialshub.com. Replies within one business day. Include your store domain and, if it is about a specific sort, the collection name and roughly when it ran — every run is logged with its move list, so that is usually enough to answer precisely.

Setting up

  1. Install from the Shopify App Store. The catalogue sync starts on its own. A few thousand products take under a minute; 50,000 take several. The Overview page shows progress.
  2. Manage your first collection. Collections → pick one → Manage. Choose a strategy: Balanced is a sensible default, Revenue for a sale, Stock clearance for end-of-season.
  3. Preview before you apply. The preview lists the exact moves. Nothing changes in your store until you apply.
  4. Add the storefront tracker. Online Store → Themes → Customise → Add block → Swift AI tracker, on your collection template. This is what measures which grid positions actually get clicked. Sorting works without it, but position-adjusted click-through and the insight reports stay empty.

Common questions

Does it change anything in my store I did not ask for?

It sets the sort order of managed collections to Manual — required by Shopify's reorder API — and rewrites the product order in those collections only. Nothing else is touched: no products, no prices, no theme files, no other collections. The previous sort order is remembered and restored when you stop managing a collection.

Why has my collection not re-sorted yet?

Usually one of four things, in order of likelihood:

What happens to sold-out products?

By default they are pushed to the bottom of every managed collection. You can turn that off globally in Settings, or override it per collection with a rule.

Can I keep a product in a fixed slot?

Yes — pin it to a position with a rule. Pins are applied after ranking, so a pinned product stays where you put it no matter what the data says. There are also rules to push a product below a position, hide it from the top of a collection, boost or bury by tag or vendor, and cap how many products from one vendor may appear consecutively.

How current are the numbers?

The catalogue refreshes every 6 hours and on product and collection webhooks; orders every 3 hours; storefront engagement is collected continuously by the tracker and rolled into the ranking signals daily. The analytics page shows the age of each feed, so a stale source is visible rather than silently wrong.

Will this slow my storefront down?

The sorting itself is invisible to shoppers — it is just the order Shopify serves. The optional theme tracker is a small script that reports impressions after the page has rendered and makes no blocking requests.

Very large catalogue?

That is what this app was built for. It syncs through Shopify's bulk operations, which do not consume your API rate limit, and applies a minimal set of moves rather than pushing a whole order — on a 5,000-product collection that is usually one API batch instead of twenty. Email us before installing if you want to talk through a catalogue in the hundreds of thousands.

How do I cancel?

Plan → choose Free, or uninstall the app. Either cancels the subscription immediately and credits the unused part of the month. Uninstalling stops all sorting at once; your collections keep whatever order they were last sorted into.

Reporting a problem

For anything urgent — a collection sorted in a way that is hurting sales, or a run that will not complete — email inquiries@iessentialshub.com with "urgent" in the subject. Any applied run can be rolled back from the collection's run history in one click, which is the fastest fix while we look.
